Baby music during pregnancy: a moment for you both.
A simple way to share music, your voice and a quiet moment with your baby before birth.
Choose music for the person listening now.
During pregnancy, you can begin with what feels pleasant to you. There is no need to search for a track said to make a baby smarter or to build a special prenatal curriculum. An ordinary song can give a quiet moment its shape without becoming another task on a preparation checklist.
Use a comfortable room setup.
Play music at a comfortable level in the room or sing in your own voice. Do not place headphones or a speaker against your abdomen. The purpose is a manageable experience for you, not delivering a stronger signal to the baby. Ask your maternity professional about any specific sound-exposure concerns.
Give the habit a small place.
You might listen while sitting down after work or during a short break from planning. Keep the selection easy to find and turn off when you are ready. It does not need to happen at the same time each day, and missing a listening moment is not something to make up later.
Carry a favourite forward if you like.
After birth, you may enjoy returning to a familiar tune. That continuity can be meaningful for your family without proving a particular effect on the baby. Let your new routine grow around actual feeding and care needs. Music can accompany preparation; it does not replace antenatal advice, rest or practical support.

A SONG FOR THE MOMENT YOU ARE IN
One small pause.
One familiar melody.
