Website hosting and security
This website is hosted on our SERVER4YOU server in Europe. When you request a page, the hosting system processes technical information including your IP address, the requested address, date and time, response status, browser information and, where sent by your browser, the referring page. This processing is necessary to deliver the website and protect its availability and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs rotate automatically and are not used here to build advertising profiles.
Optional Spotify and YouTube players
The embedded players are not loaded until you press their respective load or play button. Activating a player connects your browser to Spotify or YouTube, which receives technical information such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy rules. These services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Activating a player is optional; you can use the ordinary platform links instead. The legal basis for optional player activation is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Reload the page to stop an activated player; manage any provider cookies or account settings with the provider.
Images, fonts and analytics
Images and fonts used by the website are served from our own hosting. Loading a journal photograph does not contact Pexels. We do not run an analytics or advertising tracking service on this website. External links lead to services whose privacy rules apply after you open them.
Contact and your rights
If you contact us by email, we process your message and contact details to handle your request. The legal basis depends on your request: steps before a contract or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering general correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We retain correspondence as needed for its purpose and any applicable legal obligations.
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent for future processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.
